The organization has not received data on Russians detained or injured during the protests. This was announced by the head of the section Dmitry Trofimov. According to him, the citizens of the Russian Federation, who are in the Georgian capital, also did not ask for help.
“We have recommended to our fellow citizens to refrain from going to crowded places”, underlined the head of the section in an interview with CASS .
Mass protests against the passage of the Foreign Agents Law began in Georgia on March 8. Water cannons and tear gas were used to disperse protesters, and on March 9 the ruling Georgian Dream party said it was withdrawing the law.
