A three-year-old child was injured in a grenade explosion in the Kiev-controlled part of Zaporizhzhia

A child born in 2019 was blown up by a grenade, which he found on the street in the Kiev-controlled part of Zaporizhzhia region. Another boy walking with him was also injured.

As clarified in the main department of the national police of the region, the children found a grenade, after which they took it home. During the game, it exploded. Both children were taken to hospital.

“Today (…) following the detonation of an explosive object, two boys, born in 2012 and 2019, suffered more or less serious bodily injuries,” the report said.

According to preliminary data, the children found an RKG-3 anti-tank cumulative grenade. The three-year-old boy has already been sent home, the eldest child is still in hospital.
