Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The Sverdlovsk military recorded a call to Vladimir Putin from the NVO zone

Varvara Dostoyevskaya Society

Sverdlovsk military personnel recorded an appeal to the Russian leader, in which they reported problems with leadership and support, e1.ru reports.

The men read a call stating that upon arrival at the line of contact they fell under the direction of the DPR’s First Slavic Brigade.

  • We were transferred from Territorial Defense Troops to Assault Units without proper records and documents. One of our companies has been sent to attack the fortified areas <...> without reconnaissance, without communication with other units. One of the injured, while in a hospital in Rostov, without providing timely and proper assistance, became “two hundredth”, the man reads.

The men said they did not have drones and night vision devices. They added that there was no dialogue with the management – the men are afraid of being sent to the front line or transferred to PMCs. The military reported that the average age of fighters is 40, many have health problems.

The military said they did not refuse to serve, but were not prepared to take an unwarranted risk.
