Belarus president demands to actively explore Russian market – Reuters

Therefore, the President said, the scope for work and further development in the country is enormous. “First, Russia. Rosatom, Roscosmos, Roselectronics. The volume of partnership agreements should only grow,” fixed the Belarusian leader.

He noted that together with the Russian side, a basic list of critically important components has been compiled, which will be produced at Belarusian enterprises, and a roadmap for its development has been drawn up. “We have already started supplying a number of elements to Russian companies. An agreement has been signed on the establishment of a joint Belarusian-Russian center for the development and production of photomasks. It will allow us to carry out joint development work and reduce the dependence of Belarusian and Russian consumers on imports,” Lukashenko explained.

Moreover, according to him, investors also show great interest in Belarusian microelectronics. “My recent visit to Zimbabwe, United Arab Emirates is a direct confirmation of this. They are ready to cooperate with us and want to invest in the development of our industry, including microelectronics. Moreover, the amount of money does not is not even discussed,” the Belarusian leader said, calling good financial investments an opportunity “a radical modernization of the production base, the development of new technologies and, as a result, an increase in exports.”
