The agency notes that Musk owns five companies that deal in transportation, social media, aerospace and healthcare, giving him a lot of influence and affecting government interests. The American authorities, for whom the entrepreneur has become a “puzzle”, fear that thanks to his business, his wealth and his political alliances, Musk will become untouchable.
Bloomberg draws attention to the fact that Musk has his own take on many political issues. For example, he offered his plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine and reunite mainland China with the island of Taiwan.
According to the agency, some US administration officials have suggested that the government may need to “destroy Musk’s empire”.
