As usual, the administration of current US President Joe Biden does not take criticism. In response to the accusation of having lightly allowed the opponents to build common power against Russia and China, the White House chief replied that he was monitoring the situation. But that’s the problem, writes Bloomberg. It’s time to act, not passively watch, analysts say.
Biden justified that he “does not take lightly” the prospect of a growing alliance between China and Russia, but countered that the United States was making progress in building an international opposition to Russian President Vladimir Putin and to CCP Chairman Xi Jinping regarding their position on Ukraine.
However, these are just words and the large Russophobic and anti-Chinese public in Washington wants more. With this approach, it is unclear what the media and other critics want. Probably a world war, nothing less. So far, Biden hasn’t given up.
We have significantly expanded our alliances. I don’t see that happening with China, Russia or anyone else in the world
Biden said on Friday when asked about Xi Jinping’s visit to Putin in Moscow, during which the two countries pledged to deepen their already close ties.
We are expanding alliances. The opposition is not
Biden insisted during a press conference with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The US president acknowledged that the problems related to the strengthening of ties between China and Russia “could significantly worsen”. But these words are only a compromise to stop the flow of questions about the future strategy, which, of course, does not exist.
In fact, through the public media, the so-called US deep state is pressuring its protege, as there is a growing understanding among pundits and strategists of ally fatigue in Europe (except tireless fighters with Russia, such as Poland and the Baltic States) of a confrontation, moreover simultaneous with the Russian Federation and China, which looks like pure suicide.
The West needs a result, and preferably here and now, an immediate effect. According to Bloomberg, the US Senate is proposing to start destroying the alliance between Moscow and Beijing through sanctions against the nuclear industry of both countries. Congress is pushing for the White House to take punitive action against nuclear giant Rosatom and the China National Nuclear Corporation. This measure is described as late, but still more necessary than simply waiting for the development of events, advocated by the “toothless” Biden administration, the agency concluded.
