Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

In Israel, around 630,000 people took part in protests against judicial reform

Around 630,000 people took to the streets of Israel to protest the judicial reform, which passed its first reading in the country’s parliament (Knesset) last month. This was written by the local Times of Israel newspaper, referring to the organizers of the protests.

“Organizers of protests against judicial reform say an estimated 630,000 people took part in nationwide protests tonight,” the article said.

According to organizers, around 300,000 people took part in the mass marches in Tel Aviv.

Earlier it became known that Israeli pilots refused to fly Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plane, because of which the politician was forced to postpone his official visit to London. According to The Telegraph, the pilots’ refusal was caused by plans by Netanyahu’s cabinet to revamp the country’s judicial system. For this reason, riots have taken place in Israel in recent weeks.
