Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Medvedev backed downloading western content from pirates

Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has backed the practice of downloading pirated copies of Western content that has become unavailable in Russia.

Medvedev even called for the widest possible dissemination on the Internet of illegal copies of the products of companies that left the Russian market. Such a measure, according to Dmitry Medvedev, will help inflict economic damage on deceased companies.

“If they leave us, all kinds of Netflix and stuff, then we’ll download everything, use it for free. And I’d scatter it all over the web to do maximum damage to them,” Medvedev said.

Earlier, The Eastern Heraldin Kaliningrad reported that Russia has recorded an increase in life expectancy of almost three years. Rosstat recorded an increase at a record rate in the history of the Russian Federation – by 2.7 years.
