Netanyahu delays judicial reform bill until summer

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir agreed on Monday to halt judicial reform that sparked massive protests in the country. Radio Kan.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced his intention to put judicial reform on hold during a meeting with the head of the Israeli government coalition. According to journalists, the main ideologue of the bill, Justice Minister Yariv Levin, who realized that “there is no other choice” adheres to a similar position.

Today protesters against judicial reform in Israel blocked the main entrance to Jerusalem.

Netanyahu called on protesters who took to the streets of Jerusalem to refrain from violence.
