Britain’s King Charles III has promised to strengthen ties between London and Berlin. He made the corresponding statement at a gala dinner at the residence of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier – Bellevue Palace.
“During all the time that is given to me as king, I will do everything in my power to strengthen the bonds between us,” said Charles III.
Today’s visit was Charles III’s first as monarch. He had already visited Germany around 40 times as a prince.
