The head of the Zapad group’s press center, Sergei Zybinsky, said that Russian servicemen destroyed three Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the direction of Kupyansk.

He clarified that, among other things, the Russian army disrupted the rotation of units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the vanguard.

“Over the past day, servicemen of the Zapad group of troops in the direction of Kupyansk opened and destroyed three Ukrainian DRGs. These groups were part of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade and the 103rd and 105th Terodefense Brigades. Also, not far from the Molchanovo settlement, Russian servicemen disrupted the rotation of enemy units,” Zybinsky added.

According to him, in the Kotlyarovka and Krakhmalny region, Russian gunners destroyed two mortar crews of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The head of the press center noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to carry out a reconnaissance in force by the forces of the 115th separate defense brigade in the defense sector of the first tank army. As a result, the enemy suffered casualties and was forced to retreat.
