Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is demanding that former US President Donald Trump appear in court and testify.
According to sources, the agency is investigating the financial activities of Trump and his company, including the transfer of money to the lawyer of porn actress Stormy Daniels. The girl previously announced the fact of an intimate relationship with the former US president.
However, Trump disagrees with the allegations. He informed that he was unaware of the payments to his lawyer Michael Cohen and submitted a document that could save him from criminal prosecution.

According to a number of sources, attorney Bragg suspended his work as district attorney and began investigating Trump’s activities. This accusation could have serious repercussions for Trump’s business empire.

Earlier, Trump called the charges against him political persecution. According to him, the purpose of controlling the activities of his company is an attempt to interfere in the elections.
