Poland will create a joint venture with Hyundai for the production of Korean tanks for its army

Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak says an agreement has been reached with Seoul on the production of Korean K2 tanks, reports RT . Blaszczak clarified that a consortium is being created between the Polish arms group and Hyundai Rotem for the production of new tanks,

It is planned that thanks to the new production in Poland, the country’s army will receive 180 combat vehicles in the coming years. However, President Andrzej Duda has grander plans – he wants to increase the number of K2s to 1,000 and start exporting them to NATO countries.

Earlier it was reported about Poland’s plans to become a nuclear power. In Europe, however, many were skeptical of this intention.
