The Israeli occupation arrested 230 Jerusalemites in occupied Jerusalem during the month of March

The Israeli occupation forces arrested 230 Jerusalemites in occupied Jerusalem last March, and issued 70 deportation orders from Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center stated in its monthly report that the arrests included 3 children under 12 years old, 58 boys, and 8 women.

He mentioned that more than 80 arrests were made from Al-Aqsa Mosque, its roads, and the streets of Jerusalem, in addition to arrests from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, pointing out that the occupation authorities transferred 6 Jerusalemites to administrative detention last March.

The center monitored the issuance of 70 deportation decisions, including the Old City, Al-Aqsa, and the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, and a ban on entering the West Bank. Settler incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque also continued, through the Mughrabi Gate, whose keys have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of Jerusalem.
