The number of people injured in the explosion of a cafe on the Universitetskaya Embankment in St. Petersburg has risen to 30, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation reported. It should be noted that 24 people were taken to medical facilities.
“According to operational data, 30 people were injured in an incident in a cafe in St. Petersburg, one person died,” RIA Novosti quoted a message from the Ministry of Health.

Earlier it became known that a local resident was detained in St. Petersburg who may be involved in the explosion. According to Interfax, the suspected 26-year-old woman has already been taken in for questioning by the investigator.
