The level of gasification in the Novgorod region is almost 64%

As of April 4, 2023, 7809 requests have been received from residents of Novgorod to connect homes to gas.

To date, 1635 households have already been connected. This was said at a meeting of the regional headquarters for the implementation of the priority regional project “Development of gas supply and gasification of the Novgorod region” under the leadership of First Deputy Governor Alexander Dronov. The meeting was attended by representatives of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Veliky Novgorod, the Ministry of Housing and Utilities and the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Novgorod region, and the State Housing Inspectorate.

Andrey Belov, General Director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Veliky Novgorod, noted that by the end of 2023 gas will be connected to five thousand households.

“Since the start of post-gasification work, 4,875 connections have been made and a technical feasibility of connection has been carried out for 11,763 houses”

said Andrey Belov.

At present, 156 colonies have already been gasified, accounting for 63.6% of gasification.

Under this program, it is planned to build 30 inter-settlement gas pipelines and the gasification of 172 settlements. This was reported in the press service of the Novgorod region government.

The construction of two facilities has already been completed: a gas pipeline has been opened on the territory of Borovichsky and Khvoininsky districts with a length of 80 km, and a gas pipeline to boiler house No. 221 in the village of Kotovo, district of ‘Okulovsky, with a length of 11 km.


In addition, construction and installation work continues on the gas pipeline between Borovichi and the village of Moshenskoye. Its length will be 47.8 kilometers. Construction is currently 20% complete.

Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Veliky Novgorod reported that almost 5 billion rubles were allocated in the Novgorod region for road repairs.
