Israel attacked the outskirts of the Syrian capital Damascus and the southern territories of the country with rockets on Tuesday evening. According to the Syrian Defense Ministry, two civilians were killed in the strikes.
Shortly before the agency’s statement, the SANA agency reported on the work of the Syrian Air Defense Forces (Air Defense) in the skies above Damascus.
Earlier, the Israeli Air Force carried out airstrikes on the outskirts of the Syrian capital on April 30. Then the Syrian air defense systems repelled the attack, two servicemen were injured.
