This information emerged after today’s talks between the Chinese president and Macron. European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen, who is in Beijing with French President Macron, said Xi Jinping had promised to speak to Zelenskyy “when the appropriate conditions arise”.
Earlier, Zelenskyy announced that he was ready to meet Xi Jinping.
