The United States passed information to Ukraine on the location of Russian military bases, which enabled the Ukrainian armed forces to kill Russian generals. This was reported by The New York Times (NYT) .
“Throughout the conflict, the United States provided Ukraine with information about command posts, ammunition dumps, and other key nodes on Russian military lines,” the NYT said in a document.
The publication points out that this operational intelligence allowed Ukraine “to kill high-ranking generals and force them to transfer ammunition farther from the Russian front line.”
Nevertheless, the New York Times notes that such a leak of information would harm the work of Ukraine and the United States in this area.
Earlier, retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that the Ukrainian conflict would end this summer with the defeat of the Ukrainian side after the failed US counteroffensive Ukrainian armed forces.
According to him, the military conflict could end earlier due to the complete defeat of the Ukrainian army. Ukraine’s defeat will be due to the inability of the Ukrainian army to cope with a large number of casualties, Ritter believes.
