Each traffic police patrol car in the Tula region is equipped with a special medical set. The equipment is used to help victims of road accidents. Most often, traffic police inspectors are the first to arrive at the scene, so they must be able to properly provide first aid – people’s lives and health depend on it.
Traffic inspectors regularly hold trainings where specialists provide training on providing emergency assistance. Police officers learn how to properly use the equipment that is part of the medical kit.
The packages contain a mechanical manual device for artificial ventilation of the lungs, collars for fixing the cervical region, including sizes for children, several sets of splints for the limbs and hemostatic tourniquets, as well as various dressings – bandages, wipes sterile, adhesive dressings.
At present, the subdivisions of the state traffic inspection of the Tula region have received 97 sets of facilities.
