After his conversion to Islam.. A video of a Nigerian blogger trying to read Surat Al-Asr in front of the sanctuary.. What is the story of the tattoos?

– Published on:

With difficulty and persistence, a Nigerian blogger who recently converted to Islam tried to read Surat Al-Asr in a video clip from in front of the Grand Mosque in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

Joseph, who chose the name Ibrahim after converting to Islam, insisted on reading the surah many times, despite his stuttering. And the young man appeared in another clip while he was trying to read the short surah and wrote on it “I try juicing again”.

Ibrahim devoted his account on the Instagram site to clips that he filmed from Saudi Arabia, especially from the Grand Mosque and the Noble Prophet’s Mosque. This is according to Al Jazeera Mubasher.

In these clips, Abraham appears performing prayers or circumambulating the Holy Kaaba. The young blogger has 471,000 followers on this account, and he has one million followers on TikTok.

Ibrahim’s followers constantly ask about the tattoos that fill his body and face, and he replies that he drew those tattoos before entering Islam, and that he will seek to remove them after he learned that Islam forbids tattoos.

In an interview with a Saudi content creator, Ibrahim said that it is not easy. Removing the tattoo will make him feel very painful, but he will do it, God willing.

Ibrahim, who films most of his clips from Saudi Arabia, is keen to wear the Gulf dress, including the shirt, the shemagh, and the headband.

The young man is currently performing Umrah during the month of Ramadan, and he documented many scenes at the Two Holy Mosques. He also visited the Taif region in the Kingdom, Jabal Al-Nour and Hira Cave, and filmed clips of them that he posted on his YouTube channel.

Ibrahim emphasized in a clip on Instagram that he does not seek from his conversion to Islam except for the face of God, and that he does not profess acts of worship for any other purpose, and that he seeks to please God and earn the reward.

Ibrahim was born in Nigeria in 1998, then the blogger started his career in the world of social media in 2017 and gained 500 thousand followers in Nigeria; Which made several brands deal with it.

In 2021, Joseph announced that he had converted to Islam, and said that he had always been interested in learning more about the Islamic religion, that he had studied it for a long time, and then decided to crown this journey by embracing him.

Ibrahim was widely acclaimed by his Muslim followers, and the content he provided took a different path since his conversion to Islam, as he began publishing verses from the Holy Qur’an, hadith, and Islamic teachings.

Ibrahim decided to use his platform to advocate for Islamic principles, morals and beliefs, such as generosity, mercy and brotherhood in society, and to dispel the lies and misunderstandings that promote Islam.
