The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has announced the introduction of additional sanctions against certain residents of Canada. The restrictions have also affected well-known athletes who have participated in anti-Russian protests.
In the context of the sanctions announced by Canada against the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country has placed 333 officials and ordinary citizens of the state on the sanctions list. The main reason is their participation in anti-Russian actions, according to the press service of the Russian diplomatic service.
- Entry into the Russian Federation is permanently closed to 333 Canadian citizens, – indicates on the official portal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As part of the restrictive measures, in addition to government officials, members of the sports and political communities, as well as public activists who have emphasized their hatred of the Russian Federation, have fallen.
