April 14, 2023

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law establishing the Moscow time zone in the people’s republics of Donetsk and Luhansk, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. The corresponding document is published on the official Internet portal for legal information.

The law covers four new regions. They are included in the territories that form the second time zone.

Recall that last year the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia fixed the codes 80, 81, 84 and 85 on the license plates of cars of four new regions that became part of the Russian Federation. Later, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation opened territorial offices in the LDNR, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson region.
