The United States of America has begun issuing visas to a Russian delegation led by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to attend meetings of the UN Security Council.

However, the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that there is currently a difficult situation with the issuance of visas to Russian journalists who should cover the work of the delegation.
