The Tobolsk-Petersburg flight plane returned to the airport after a collision with birds.
The crew of the Superjet -100 aircraft, which took off on Sunday from Tobolsk to St. Petersburg, decided to return to the departure airfield due to a bird strike. The press service of the Urals transport prosecutor’s office reported on the incident in the sky.
There were 73 passengers on board, including 5 children, 5 crew members.
The landing went well. Now that the liner has been suspended from flights, a further assessment of its technical condition is underway. In the future, the Tyumen transport prosecutor’s office will assess the provision of ornithological flight safety.
The flight along the route will be carried out by a reserve vessel.
