A circulating video clip showed the burning of one side of the Sudanese army’s general command building, amid armed clashes continuing for the second day in a row in Sudan, between the army and the Rapid Support Forces.
This came after the Rapid Support Forces broadcast pictures that it says are of a fire in a building belonging to the General Command headquarters, according to Al-Jazeera.

The Rapid Support Forces had said earlier that they had taken control of the presidential palace, the residence of the army commander, and airports in Khartoum and the city of Meroe in the north, and in El Fasher and West Darfur state, but the army denied these assertions.
According to the Sudan Doctors Committee, the ongoing clashes have killed 56 civilians and dozens of military personnel so far.
