The Sudanese Foreign Ministry considered what is happening in the country, regarding what it described "Rapid Support Forces rebellion"It is an internal matter that should be left to the Sudanese to settle away from external interference. In a statement today, the Foreign Ministry expressed its appreciation for the efforts of Arab and African countries and the international community to help calm the situation in the country, stressing that the competent authorities have taken all necessary measures to protect the headquarters and employees of diplomatic missions accredited in Khartoum. She explained that the army adopts a combat strategy aimed at minimizing losses among civilians and private and public property, pointing out that Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council in Sudan, issued a decision to dissolve the Rapid Support Forces as a result of the rebellion of the forces and declare it a rebellious force against the state, and it will be dealt with on this basis. The ministry also stated, in its statement, that all national, regional and international mediations sought to persuade the Rapid Support Command to integrate into the armed forces, but their efforts failed. It should be noted that Sudan has witnessed, since last Saturday morning, violent armed confrontations between the army and the Rapid Support Forces, which resulted in the death of a hundred people and the injury of hundreds, amid international and regional calls for calm, a cease-fire, and a return to the negotiating table to resolve differences.
