Today, Tuesday 27 Ramadan 1444, the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs clarified the legal ruling on using eye drops during the day in Ramadan.

The ministry said on its Twitter account: "The correct view is that drops do not break the fast, whether they are in the eye or in the ear, although there is a difference of opinion among scholars".

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, during the blessed month of Ramadan, prepares and publishes common Ramadan questions among people to facilitate quick access to correct legal answers and rulings based on evidence from the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet.
