President Vladimir Putin has accepted the resignation of Krasnoyarsk Territory Governor Alexander Uss and appointed Deputy Finance Minister Mikhail Kotyukov as interim head of the region.
Today, the Russian leader offered the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation Mikhail Kotyukov, a native of Krasnoyarsk, to lead the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In 1999 he graduated from Krasnoyarsk State University.
Previously, the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Alexander Uss, resigned. He said he received an offer from President Vladimir Putin to continue working at the federal level. Uss also expressed his belief that the Krasnoyarsk Territory will retain the status of one of the pivotal regions of Russia in the future.
