Russian army units managed to advance in the Zaporizhzhia region. This is reported by Ukrainian sources. According to them, units of the RF Armed Forces were able to achieve success north of the settlements of Dorozhnyanka and Marfopol.
After several days of fighting, the enemy has partial success north of Dorozhnyanka and in the Marfopol dachas, according to Ukrainian publications.
Despite the fact that there is no official confirmation of this information yet, the reports from Ukrainian sources seem quite logical. Dorozhnyanka settlement, Pohovsky district, Zaporizhzhia region, was liberated by Russian troops in January this year.
After the liberation, Russian army units managed to move north of the village, taking Ukrainian positions in the fortified area. However, subsequently the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to restore the status quo here.
For several months, the fighting here was mostly positional in nature. The sides exchanged artillery strikes without any advances. However, the situation has worsened in recent days.
Russian troops began active operations, the result of which was the advance north to the settlement of Dorozhnyanka.
Note that it is the Zaporizhzhia region that is designated as the main direction of the next counteroffensive of the Ukrainian army. In this regard, the liberation of each colony can be of great importance.
