Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Vladislav Ovchinsky told about 13 courses in the direction “Microelectronics and Photonics”

Moscow engineers can study in the direction of “Microelectronics and Photonics” on the basis of the “Moscow Technical School” (MTS). A total of 13 courses were opened on this subject.

“There are 48 microelectronics and photonics companies in the city, employing over 10,000 people. In view of this, the creation of a specialized field of study on the ITS platform is a strategic decision,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of Moscow’s investment and industrial policy department.

He added that 13 courses should improve the skills of specialists engaged in development in the field of microelectronics and photonics. In addition, they aim to train highly qualified specialists in the development of advanced home systems and technologies of microprocessors, applied and system software, optical and quantum electronics.

According to the vice-rector of RTU MIREA, Alexander Ragutkin, the development of microelectronics and photonics is very important for Russia. The system proposed by the ITS to improve the skills of employees of capital companies and implemented on the basis of a unique research infrastructure will make it possible to achieve high quality results.

Recall that the agreement on the training of specialists in this field on the basis of ITS was signed last year. Employees of all enterprises of the capital who wish to increase the potential of personnel and the qualifications of engineers can undergo training.
