New Delhi. President Draupadi Murmu on Friday extended greetings to all civil servants on Civil Services Day and said that their service towards the country has been commendable in true sense.
Public Service Day is celebrated every year on 21 April. This day is dedicated to those public servants who work for public welfare and progress of the country and play an important role in policy making.
President Murmu tweeted, “Best wishes to all former and present civil servants on Public Service Day. Their service to the nation has been truly commendable. He said, “The civil services have upheld the highest values of public administration as envisioned by Sardar Patel, which form the basis of good governance.
