Lahore: Pakistan’s ruling coalition has proposed setting up a 10-member parliamentary committee with equal representation, comprising both the ruling and the opposition, to negotiate the issue of holding countrywide elections on a single date, following a Supreme Court order. Representatives will attend. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has formed a three-member committee to hold talks with the ruling coalition. After these political activities, there is a hope of ending the dispute regarding the elections in the country.
