The name of the late service-oriented veteran is Prabhu Dayal Gaur. Once upon a time, he used to have a house in C Block in Bapu Nagar. But now it has been sold out. The one who was sold a few years ago, now his memories are left. A few years before his retirement, Mr. Gaur used to perform the duties of deputy secretary in the Government Secretariat. Having no children, he lived alone with his wife. Sir’s specialty was that he was devoted to social service. The services of badminton, carrom and yoga were provided free of cost within the four walls of his residence. Along with this, he used to tell people the tips to stay healthy. Had good knowledge of naturopathy. For purity, he had reared a foreign cow. When there were two members in the house, its milk was sold to the neighbors. Gaur Saheb had only one mission that there should be greenery in every house of Bapu Nagar. For this, he used to insist on planting mango and mulberry trees. On every Sunday, they used to set up camp in every house one by one. He was very fond of gardening. His effort was that the garden of the house should be used in every family. There was a great assortment of vegetables as well as decorations. There was a very good collection of plants used in decoration. He was also interested in politics. Contested the election of councilor as an independent. But he could not get elected. There was special interest in religious events. The library was made at home. Gaur Saheb died in a breaking accident. He was on a scooter. Someone in front Truck hit. He died on the spot. The wife was mentally ill. What happened to them, till date no one knows.
