Peshawar: On Thursday night, terrorists carried out three attacks on security forces in Pakistan’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, in which three soldiers were killed. At the same time, the security forces killed seven terrorists. The army gave this information on Friday. A several-hour-long encounter took place on Thursday night between terrorists and security forces in the Lakki Marwat area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, bordering Afghanistan. The army said in a statement that the attackers were killed, but three soldiers lost their lives. In one of the attacks, a suicide bomber on a motorcycle blew himself up near a compound housing security forces. The statement said the army is still searching the area for the terrorists who fled after the attacks. However, no organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.
