Honda announced on Wednesday that it will launch a new model of “mid-to-large” electric cars for the North American market in 2025, in addition to three other electric types to be launched in Japan between 2025 and 2026.

Last year, the Japanese group entered into a partnership with the South Korean company “LG Energy” to build an electric battery factory in the United States, which will exclusively supply Honda factories in Japan at the end of 2025.

The cost of this factory was initially estimated at $4.4 billion, and it will be located in Ohio, near other Honda-owned factories.
