In the Susaninsky settlement of the Gachinsky district of the Leningrad region, unidentified persons blew up a power line support. About it in my telegram channel informed Governor Alexander Drozdenko.
“At 00:01 on May 1, a power line support exploded on the territory of the Susaninsky settlement of the Gatchinsky district,” the head of the region wrote.
According to Drozdenko, an “unknown object” was found near the second pillar, presumably an explosive device. Later he writing that “the threat of undermining the second pillar of the power line has been eliminated”.
“Explosives experts have removed and cleared the charge with a fuse. A review of the other supports in the damaged line is currently underway,” the governor added.

In September, the Baza telegram channel informed that unknown persons blew up two electricity pylons in the region near the railway line, three kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
In the fall of 2022, the FSB announced the arrest of an agent of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) who, according to the intelligence service, was going to blow up a power line in Crimea. The ministry statement said that, “according to energy experts”, in the event of damage to power lines, more than 5,000 consumers in Crimea would be left without electricity. A criminal case has been opened for preparation of sabotage and illegal trafficking of explosives.
