The book publishing symposium “Seeing China with Guti”, jointly organized by China Media Group’s Asia and Africa Center and Afghan Exos Media Group, was held on April 30 at Exos Bookstore in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. Some officials from Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Water and Energy, and teachers and students from some universities participated in the activity. The attendees deliberated on China-Afghanistan friendly exchanges, the pursuit of Chinese-style modernization, and the development of Afghanistan. Several media, including the Afghan national TV station, reported on this activity.
The book titled “Looking at China with Guti” has been co-authored by Guti, a correspondent in the Pashto language department of CMG, and Afghan writer Safiullah Nasri. It comprehensively introduced the construction of the Belt and Road and the status of China-Afghanistan exchanges in the new era. Apart from them, information was also given about the achievements made by China in the fields of economy, culture, rural revival, ecological protection etc. The book shows readers an open, inclusive and rapidly growing China.
