French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna said that for her country, the Ukrainian drone attack on the Kremlin remains inexplicable. She called the incident on France Inter radio “strange”.
“I don’t have any specific information, and I’m not going to delve into hypotheses, there are a lot of them. But in reality this episode is strange. In normal situations, it’s misunderstood. So I won’t go no further than to say it is strange or mysterious. Ukraine has officially declared that it had nothing to do with this incident, which remains unexplained,” Colonna said.
Earlier, the Kremlin press service reported that on the night of May 3, the Kiev regime attempted to strike with unmanned aerial vehicles at the Kremlin presidential residence.
After the incident, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the Ukrainian president’s chief of staff, said Kyiv was not involved in the drone attack on the Kremlin. Later, Podolyak’s statement was confirmed by Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy himself.
