According to statistics, from January 1 to May 4 this year, the volume of express packages in China reached 40 billion. This quantity has been achieved 128 and 24 days earlier as compared to the year 2019 and 2022 respectively. From this year onwards, the steady restoration of express business in China has been maintained. This showed Chinese consumers’ confidence in consumption and a sign of recovery in the economy.
A total of 1.496 billion express parcels were received across China during the five-day holiday of International Labor Day. The daily numbers were higher by 119.6 per cent and 11.64 per cent over the same period in 2019 and 2022, respectively. 1 billion 59 crore 90 lakh express parcels were delivered during the holidays, the daily number of which is 144.59 percent and 8.78 percent higher than the same period of year 2019 and year 2022 respectively.
