China’s imports from Central and East European countries continued to show a steady growth trend in the face of slowing world trade growth. The relevant official of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said this in a news briefing held on 5 May. The current China-CEEC Expo is reported to have attracted nearly 380 enterprises from Central and East European countries. Products showcased at the expo include intelligent manufacturing, daily fashion, agriculture and food products, tourism and logistics, etc.
The expo allows Chinese enterprises and consumers to experience products from Central and East European countries. The Chinese Ministry of Commerce will strengthen trade policy coordination and consultation with Central and East European countries, and support the construction of a commercial cooperation demonstration zone and industrial cooperation park, so as to attract more enterprises to invest in China.
