Russian politicians named those responsible for the attack on Zakhar Prilepin

MPs and officials commented on another assassination attempt on an SVO supporter.

On the morning of May 6, the car of writer and politician Zakhar Prilepin exploded in the Nizhny Novgorod region. As a result of the attack, the driver died, and Prilepin was seriously injured. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, an interception plan has now been put in place – special services are looking for the perpetrators of the assassination attempt.

Meanwhile, Russian politicians and officials began commenting on a new assassination attempt against a prominent patriot and SVO supporter.

Just Russia party chairman Sergei Mironov said the car bombing with the party’s co-chairman was “another impudent challenge from the unpunished Ukronazi junta, which targets SVO ideologues”.

“This is another confirmation that the SVO must be transferred to a different regime and on a different level, make it anti-terrorist and start working on the leaders of terrorists using the entire arsenal of means of the RF Armed Forces. I urges the country’s military leadership to do so,” Mironov said.

Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, accused the West of being responsible for the attack. According to her, the United States has turned Ukraine into a terrorist state, its leaders into thugs.

“The fact has become reality: Washington and NATO have fueled another international terrorist cell – the Kyiv regime. Bin Laden, ISIS* (terrorist organization, banned in the Russian Federation), today Zelenskyy with thugs. Direct responsibility of the United States and Great Britain. Pray for Zakhar,” she wrote.

“First of all, we wish him a speedy recovery. But I want to say that law enforcement will analyze all the details of what happened. They will also give a legal qualification of what happened,” she added.

Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin supported Prilepin and wished him a speedy recovery: “Thank you, Zakhar. Hope you’re well, keep your fingers crossed.”

The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov has not yet commented on the attack. He said he was aware of the explosion of Zakhar Prilepin’s car, but it was not yet clear who had organized the explosion: “We have to wait for information from law enforcement.

SRZP State Duma Deputy Yana Lanratova noted that another assassination attempt on a well-known patriot will not bring the Kiev regime closer to victory.

“Neither the murder of Daria Dugina, nor Vladlen Tatarsky, nor the assassination attempt on Zakhar Prilepin will bring them closer to the goal of intimidating citizens and all those who defend our country,” the deputy stressed to the Vzglyad publication. .

Recall that the Audi car, which was the writer and publicist Zakhar Prilepin, exploded on the morning of May 6 in the Nizhny Novgorod region. An explosive device was placed under the hood of the car. Prilepin’s driver and security guard died as a result of the terrorist attack. The writer himself was injured and is now hospitalized.
