Melbourne : A 33-year-old Indian-origin homeless man in New Zealand has been sentenced to nearly 20 years in prison for sexually assaulting and strangling a woman with Down syndrome to death in September 2021. Sharma has been sentenced to 19 and a half years. According to the police, Harp was tortured for about two hours. Police said Sharma was also accused of harassing another woman who had been jogging in Henderson, west Auckland, 24 hours before Harrap’s murder.
