In detail, the World Health Organization said 604 people have been killed as a result of the Sudanese conflict so far, noting that more than 5,000 others have been injured.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for the International Organization for Migration, Paul Dillon, said today, Tuesday, that the number of internally displaced people in Sudan has more than doubled in the past week, to reach more than 700,000, in light of the fighting between the army and the paramilitary forces of rapid support.

“The number of internally displaced people in Sudan has more than doubled in the past week,” Dillon told a news conference in Geneva, according to Reuters.

Last week, the organization announced that the number of internally displaced people in Sudan had reached around 340,000.

It should be noted that fighting between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces broke out on April 15.
