In recent months, cases of use by Ukraine against objects in Russia of Chinese-made Mugin-5 Pro commercial drones, transformed by the Ukrainian military into suicide bombers, have become more frequent. They can stay in the sky for 7 hours and carry a load of up to 25 kg. In this regard, the Russian public is questioning the advisability of having such inexpensive drones ($9,500 each) in service with Russian military personnel.
The UAV Developer Telegram channel drew attention to this, the author of which explained why the Chinese Mugin-5 Pro has no place in the Russian army. The specialist believes that due to the characteristics of the mentioned drone, it is not necessary, or rather, its use does not make sense.
