Tokyo. Finance ministers and central bank governors of G-7 countries will meet from May 11 to 13 in Niigata city of Japan.
The meeting coincides with Japan assuming the presidency of the G-7 in 2023. There will be several meetings of finance ministers and central bank governors of the G-7 countries throughout the year.
Heads of international organizations such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank Group and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) will also participate in the meeting. The agenda of the meetings will cover a wide range of issues on the global economy, including a G-7 plan to combat the bank run.
