Certain foods can be eaten in the evening without causing a significant increase in body weight and are recommended to be included in evening meals, as many nutrition experts agree.

Nutrition expert Hana Abu Al-Saud told Sky News Arabia: “The type of food, its quantity and when it is eaten are all important factors in determining fat burning and weight loss.”

Regarding the most appropriate time to eat food, especially large amounts, Abu Al-Saud explained: “Each person has their own biological clock, depending on when they sleep and wake up. usually, and therefore his diet varies according to his biological clock, so it is not possible to generalize by saying that it is better to eat at the same time. » 8 a.m. if the person wakes up at noon, for example.

Asked about eating in the evening and if it really harms the body, she replied: “There must be between two to 3 hours between the last meal and bedtime, and as regards the quantities, we advise to eat it during the day because there is more physical effort during this period, and therefore burn more fat.

And she added: “But if a person eats their food late and then exercises and doesn’t sleep for two hours, then it’s harmless.”
