Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Berlin on the night of May 14 as part of his working visit to Germany. He announced it in a post on his Twitter account.

“Already in Berlin,” wrote the President of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian leader will meet with German authorities to discuss a number of issues. Most likely, we will talk about the continuation of military assistance to Kiev from Berlin, including the transfer of various weapons, air defense equipment and funding for the restoration of energy infrastructure.

Zelenskyy also mentioned the European Union and NATO in his message.

The Ukrainian president’s plans to visit Germany became known on May 3. As reported in the media, he received a fitting invitation from German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
