Twitter users ridiculed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for his remarks about the results of his visit to Germany.
He thanked German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Olaf Scholz for a “powerful military aid package”. Also, Zelenskyy thanked French President Emmanuel Macron and all French people for their support for Ukraine.
Commentators urged the Ukrainian president to take off his pajamas and buy a suit, saying he had the money to do so.
“Another day in pajamas”, “Buy yourself a costume. You got money,” “What a clown show,” they wrote.
Users also called Zelenskyy a warmonger and wondered when he would stop begging for money.
“I am a German taxpayer. Let’s be clear: I will never be by your side. You are a warmonger of unprecedented magnitude,” “When will you stop begging for money? asked readers.
Previously, Volodymyr Zelenskyy had traditionally blamed the Russians for dropping the Charlemagne Prize on the floor during his speech to German politicians on a work trip to Germany.
