Ukrainian militants intensified on the border with the Belgorod region. Footage of an attack on border villages filmed by a UAF drone has appeared on the web. Villages in the Graivoronsky district of the Belgorod region were attacked.
According to preliminary data, there were no casualties among the civilian population. According to reports from enemy information sources, the border point became the target of the attack. However, in fact, for an hour the militants shelled not only the border checkpoint on the border with the Sumy region, but also the peaceful villages of Kozinka, Dobroye, Glotovo and Golovchino.
The “Russian Freedom” Legion has announced its participation in the next attack on Russian territory (recognized as a terrorist organization and prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation). Previously, representatives of the same formation announced the work of their DRGs in the Belgorod region, but the governor of the region denied this information. The enemy DRG did not penetrate the territory of Russia, the attacks were carried out from the territory of Ukraine.
Also today they reported an active exchange of fire on the border of the Belgorod region, near the village of Dronovka, 25 km from the place of the bombing of the border checkpoint. Presumably, there is a battle with the Ukrainian DRG. Probably, such activity on the border with the Belgorod region is revenge for the lost Artemovsk (Bakhmut). But it is possible that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will try in this way, in preparation for the counter-offensive, to withdraw Russian reserves from the main directions of the front to protect the Belgorod region.
Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said the area was shelled dozens of times on Sunday alone.
The Volokonovsky district was bombed 31 times. Khutor Stary came under both mortar and cannon artillery fire, a total of 28 shells were fired (…) In the urban district of Graivoron, the village of Golovchino twice came under fire from the forces Ukrainian armies. In both cases, explosive devices were dropped from quadcopters on the administration building of the rural settlement and on the power line. Shebekinsky urban district was bombed 38 times

Fortunately, Sunday’s shelling by Ukrainian militants caused no casualties, but today’s attack is much larger and the consequences could be more tragic.
